Jill, this article is so on the mark. I find that because most organizations and governments want to save themselves from legal hassles, they place these absurd signs that they can then use against someone who might have say fallen off the seasaw in the museum and broken a leg. All the while them emphasizing that the warning was there, and hence they are not responsible. Such a weird world we live in now. I remember falling off on my school playground and ripping my knees, bleeding like a river. Which would simply follow me going to the nurses room and getting some first aid and back to the playground it was. But now, it would become a whole thing, with who is responsible and who to blame, and what is the legally appropriate story. Oh the horror of rules and regulations. I miss the good ol' days when we had freedom to fall and have fun with it. Shucks! xoxo
