Steps to start finding & working through your triggers

  1. start a journal: begin by keeping a daily journal to record your thoughts and emotions
  2. note emotional shifts: pay attention to moments when your mood shifts. record what you were doing and how you felt before and after
  3. identify patterns: review your entries regularly to identify recurring patterns in your emotions or reactions
  4. ask why: for each entry, ask yourself why you felt a certain way. dig deeper to uncover the underlying causes
  5. explore childhood influences: if any triggers connect to past experiences or childhood events. sometimes, deep-seated triggers have roots in early life
  6. experiment with changes: once you’ve identified triggers, experiment with small changes to test their impact on your emotional responses

Healing from your negative triggers is possible!
