Your exploration into this topic always fascinates me Ali. Your perspective is valid and very very apt tot he times we are in. The studies you presented and the arguments that follow truly make sense. I see more and more people making the "choice" not to have children. It boils down to that in the end I think, CHOICE. If only we can all come out of our predestined belief systems, we can make better choices for ourselves and our world at large.

This topic also made me think of Margret atwoods - Handmaids tale, a dyspodian reality where children are not being born because of the environmental wrongs ...and then what a community desperately does to produce children.

There are so many sides to this argument, but it must always boil down to personal choice I think.
